Laurence Havrenne started her career as a company controller at Electrabel. She then moved on to Mobistar and later Orange, where she held various positions in finance. In February 2019, she became Chief Financial Officer at Fost Plus. Driving both the execution of the strategy and financial transformation of the organization, she acts as a business partner to the board and key stakeholders of the company. Needless to add that performance management is paramount for her.
Since 1994, Fost Plus has been accelerating the transition towards sustainable packaging management. Citizens are at the heart of an approach aimed at preventing raw materials from becoming waste. To this end, Fost Plus sets up efficient structures to ensure correct sorting anytime, anywhere, works with its members on packaging design with a view to improving recyclability, and rethinks the way we all handle (packaging) materials.
Fost Plus works closely with citizens, businesses, public authorities and experts to collect and recycle the household packaging placed on the market by its members. In doing so, the organisation fulfils the Extended Producer Responsibility obligations of its members. 60 dedicated colleagues are committed to influencing behaviour so as to keep the environmental impact of the way we produce and consume as low as possible. By building sustainable material chains, Fost Plus contributes to a better society and a cleaner living environment for everyone.
